In the movie Groundhog Day A weather man (Phil) covers a story about a groundhog in the small "Hick" town of Punxsutawney. This is his one of many visits on the story, and he makes no effort to hide his frustration. On awaking the following day he discovers that it's Groundhog Day again, and again, and again.
As Phil awakens everyday to the same day he starts to do stuff he would never do. Phil steals, runs from the cops and flirts with people. He finally gives up on life and commits suicide many times but wakes up again and again and realizes it has no meaning. Whats life worth living for? To me being happy makes life worth living. Phil waking up everyday with no consequences from what he did before makes him go crazy. He finds his self identity and what makes him happy. Phil was a loner and once he found his inner self and what made him happy life became worth living.
Though it may be hard to believe, something good came from this experience. He started to see things better and in a different way when he had nothing else to do. Life became worth living when he realized that he truly did love his co-worker and started making a difference in not only his life but other people's lives as well.
